15Dec25: This older lacie usb portable drive stopped detecting in a computer. It came from Brisbane QLD. It has a Toshiba MK4025GAS hard drive. It does not spin up. The pcb draws 0.85 amps with no spin up. We tested the pcb to be ok. We found the spindle bearing motor was seized up. This could not be freed so we did a platter transplant to a new hard drive. Original heads and pcb were saved. We successfully recovered all the photos back for this customer. PCB: G5B000465.
